Here are 3 of my favourite homemade beauty products.
Homemade Beauty Products: Lemon and Sea Salt Scrub
Use this scrub to soften and cleanse the skin – it can also help with acne, scarring, and age spots.
- Thoroughly mix 1 tablespoon olive oil with 5 tablespoons sea salt.
- Squeeze the juice of 1 lemon over the mixture and combine.
- Scrub your skin smooth!
Lemon Anti-wrinkle Toner
Anti-wrinkle products are often sold at a premium price, but this toner is a great natural alternative!
You will need:
- A glass jar with an airtight lid
- 2 teaspoons raw honey
- 2 tablespoons witch hazel or vodka
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Mix the 3 liquid ingredients and store in the glass jar – let it sit for 3 days.
Apply the toner morning and night.
Toners seem to have sort of fallen out of fashion in recent years – but this feels lovely.

Lemon Foot Soak
Treat tired, sore or dry feet with this refreshing soak.
- 1/4 cup / 60 ml milk
- 1 cup / 240 ml lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
Mix all ingredients into a warm tub of water. Soak your feet for 5 – 20 minutes. Rinse and moisturize.
