It’s Easy To Feel Tired in Today’s World. Here Are 4 Ways to Increase Your Energy So You’ll Feel Better
Do you find yourself running out of energy? Perhaps you always feel tired? You are not alone – it’s a common problem in today’s busy world. Here are 4 healthy habits that will help to increase your energy.
Of course, all of these habits are green and eco-friendly, and won’t harm the environment!
-
Get More Sleep
It’s all too easy to forget about sleep – our lives are so busy! You might go to bed much later to meet a deadline, or have a social night out, or watch late-night TV.
Millions and millions of people suffer from some sort of sleep issue. If you’re not getting enough sleep, you can easily feel grumpy, lethargic and tired. There’s no way you can increase your energy if you’re not getting enough sleep!
If you’re struggling to sleep, you can go through some relaxing routines before bed such as taking a relaxing bath or reading a book. But there’s lots more that you can do – I’ve got a fabulous video course that shows you exactly what you need to do to get a great night’s sleep – starting tonight! (Or you can pay a sleep therapist an awful lot of money to tell you exactly what I show you in the videos). Check it out here.

Lower Stress Levels
Busy lives can make you feel stressed and uneasy which causes you to struggle with concentration and focus. Too much stress can have physical and mental issues on your health, and your lack of energy could easily be down to stress.
Sadly, you may not be able to remove all the stress from your life, but it helps to identify what is causing you stress, and investigate if there are ways of avoiding it.
Removing stress can definitely help you feel less “weighed down” and more energetic
-
Exercise More
It always amuses me that if you’re tired, you don’t want to exercise because you’re tired – yet exercise gives you more energy!
Exercise also helps to reduce the risk of diseases such as obesity, diabetes and heart disease. A walk is one of the simplest exercises, but it brings great benefits.
Any form of exercise releases hormones into your body giving you a quick boost of energy. A short but brisk walk at lunchtime might be exactly what you need to get you through the rest of the day!
-
Smoking and Alcohol
It’s a no brainer, but smoking can destroy your life. Prolonged smoking can cause you to develop lung cancer and heart disease.
Smoking stops your lungs from functioning correctly which reduces the amount of oxygen traveling around your body which causes you to become tired. Cut back significantly on the number you smoke, or stop completely.
Alcohol acts a sedative which will make you feel tired , Many people believe that if you drink a few units before bed that you’ll sleep more easily, but in fact it ruins your sleep patterns.
Keep within the recommended levels and stop drinking a few hours before bedtime. This will allow you to wake up with enough energy to get you through the day.
Conclusion
There are other habits such as drinking water and eating fresh, healthy and nourishing food which will of course also improve your health and well-being.
Incorporate these habits into your life and you’ll have an easier time getting all the energy you need!
