enjoy these boozy smoothie recipes and celebrate!

Mostly, my smoothie posts focus on yummy and healthy fresh juices and smoothies – and they’re great!

But sometimes, just sometimes (like now), it’s also great to take your normal healthy smoothie and add a dash of a little something special. Alcohol. Booze. Secret Sauce. Call it what you will.

I’ve scoured the internet so that you can relax, enjoy and celebrate with these yummy boozy smoothie recipes – oh, and they all have dairy-free options too !

Why Boozy Smoothie Recipes?

They’re not that different really – these smoothie recipes use fruit, nut butters and superfoods mixed with liquid.

But these yummy “spiked” smoothies combine your healthy routines with your late-night shenanigans – a wee splash of spirit takes them to another level.

Enjoy!

Iced Cinnamon Coconut Latte

This boozy (dairy-free) smoothie is a gorgeous coffee cocktail. This is a real crowd-pleaser so you might want to make a larger batch!

Makes: 1 serving

1/2 cup / 120 ml cold coffee
3 teaspoons coconut oil
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
3 ounces / 100 ml Baileys Almande
1/4 cup / 60 ml almond milk (or milk of your choice)
1/2 frozen banana
1 date
1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
5 ice cubes

Add all ingredients to blender and mix for 45-60 seconds.

(A little bit about Baileys Almande – it’s dairy-free, gluten-free and vegan. It’s a light-tasting liqueur that uses almond milk (made from sweet almond oil and almond essence), cane sugar, and purified water with a touch of vanilla).

Watermelon Peach Smoothie

In this recipe you blend yummy fruits to make the liquid base, then add a splash of lime juice and a touch of tequila. Yum!

Makes: 1 serving

2 cups / 220 g chopped watermelon
1 cup / 110 g frozen peaches
1 1/2 ounces / 50 ml tequila
1/2 lime, juiced
5 ice cubes
Mint leaves, for garnish

DIRECTIONS
Add all ingredients to blender, except mint, and mix for 45-60 seconds. Garnish with mint leaves.

Vodka-Fruit Smoothie

Use a shot glass (or small container) to measure the vodka if you wish. But really, you don’t need to be exact with the measurements.

boozy smoothie recipeServings: 1

1 shot vodka (or 2 if you prefer!)
1 shot orange juice
Handful of ice
Handful of blackberries
Handful of strawberries
1 shot Greek yogurt – or almond or cashew yoghurt if you prefer dairy-free

Pina-Colada Smoothie

It’s true – you DON’T need cream or dairy to make a frothy, beachy cocktail. This boozy smoothie tastes almost as good as the pina coladas you get on the beach!

Note – use coconut milk from the carton, which is a bit more like almond milk, to keep the calories lower. Or use coconut milk from the can for more flavor and more creaminess.

Makes: 1 serving

INGREDIENTS
2 cups frozen pineapple
1/2 frozen banana
1/2 cup / 125 ml coconut milk
1 1/2 ounces / 50 ml white rum – spiced rum also works well, or try coconut rum for even beachier vibes)
1/2 lime, juiced
5 ice cubes

Add all ingredients to blender and mix for 45-60 seconds.
